What is GakuNin<\/h4>\n

Through GakuNin you can access licensed e-resources with your Microsoft 365 University Account (your email address issued by Saitama University)<\/span><\/span><\/span> when you are off-campus.
\nGakuNin is the Academic Access Management Federation in Japan. If you want to know more about GakuNin, please check the external website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Who can use e-resources through GakuNin<\/h4>\n

All of the current members who have Microsoft 365 University Account<\/span><\/span><\/span> can do.<\/p>\n

How to use<\/h4>\n

There are some differences between each service, but the general flow is almost the same. Let us explain it briefly.<\/p>\n

First, click \u201cInstitutional login\u201d on a website (expression may differ depending on websites) and select \u201cSaitama University\u201d as institution. Next, log in with Microsoft 365 University Account<\/span><\/span><\/span> and password. For each e-resource, please look at the list below.<\/p>\n

GakuNin uses a mechanism called \u201cSingle Sign-On\u201d. Once you log in one service, you can use the other e-resources listed below without entering your account and password again.<\/p>\n

Notice<\/h4>\n

You need to log out individually for each logged-in service and to close all of the logged-in browser windows. Please pay special attention with shared PCs.<\/p>\n

Please be careful not to download too much data at one time (systematic and programmatic download). You cannot use e-resources commercially or beyond research purpose. Such prohibited use may lead to suspension of service.<\/p>\n

You can only access the contents to which Saitama University subscribes.<\/p>\n
